Terms and Conditions for repair service

Data may be deleted or lost during the repair process. Please remove all SIM card and memory card, and back up all applications and data, including ring tones, pictures, games and other personal information before you (the Customer) send in your device for repair. No party associated with the repair process shall be responsible for the loss of any data or personal information you may suffer.

Mobilefonecare.co.nz Ltd will not be liable for phone(s) lost or damaged in transit by courier.

You confirmed that you accept service provided by Mobilefonecare.co.nz Ltd and agrees to pay for charges on the invoice when the service is rendered.

If Warranty is declined, the status of the service will be changed to Non-Warranty and a quote will be provided for repair deemed required.

Non-Warranty services carry an assessment fee$35 that is payable upfront at the time of book in. If the quote is accepted, this fee is included as part of payment towards the total cost of the repair. This assessment fee is non-refundable if quote is declined or if we get no response to the quote in 10 working days.

In case of device not collected or invoice not paid after a period of 30 days from the date of invoice, Mobilefonecare.co.nz Ltd will not be liable for any responsibility of storage and has the right to dispose the device in an environmentally responsible way without any further notice to you. You will remain liable for the invoiced amount and additional charges incurred with the overdue payment.

Work carried out is covered by a 90 day warranty from the date of invoice. This warranty does not cover liquid or physical damages, or software issues. It also does not cover additional faults which may occur and which are un-related to the original fault.

Repair completed

Shortages or discrepancies must be advised in writing within 24 hours of receipt.

In case of device not collected or invoice not paid after a period of 30 days from the date of invoice, Mobilefonecare.co.nz Ltd will not be liable for any responsibility of storage and has the right to dispose the device in an environmentally responsible way without any further notice to you (the Customer). You will remain liable for the invoiced amount and additional charges incurred with the overdue payment.

Terms and Conditions for refurbished phone:

If you're having problems with your mobile phone or a feature isn't working, the first thing you should do is check out your mobile phone's User Guide for help. If that doesn't work, we can help you repair your mobile phone.

Keep in mind that it's your responsibility to record and erase all info (e.g. texts, images, ringtones, contacts, etc.) from a mobile phone you return to us. Mobilfonecare.co.nz Limited is not responsible for any personal info left on a phone and will not guarantee that personal info left on a phone will be erased.

All refurbish phones come with a 12 month warranty.

Your phone warranty turns void if:

Warranty seal broken.

It’s legal to root / jailbreak your phone; however, if you do it, your device gets straight out of warranty. Say you root/jailbreak your phone and sometime after that, you experience a phone malfunction – hardware or software related. Because of the Android rooting / iPhone jailbreak, the warranty is no longer valid, and the manufacturer will not cover the damages.

Water Damage

Mobile phones aren’t swimmers. If they get wet, they have very little chance of surviving and are not covered by warranty.

 

Physical Damage

If your mobile phone is damaged due to neglect or abuse, it won’t be covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty.
